This is a full time position located in the Marketing Department with flexible/variable days and hours to include week-ends, holidays, and overtime as required with benefits after successful completion of a (3) month probationary period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing, primary responsibility will be to identify new corporate sponsorship opportunities, create and deliver presentations to prospective partners, negotiate agreements and manage the execution of sponsorship elements. These sponsorships utilize a variety of tools that target visitors to Graceland, Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel, Elvis.com and Elvis Week along with the extensive coverage Elvis-related projects generate in the media. Manager will work closely with each partner to create a sponsorship package that is specifically designed to reach their unique objectives. Additionally, manager will be required to participate, as needed, in projects to benefit the other areas within the EPE marketing department and the company. Key Accountabilities: •Prospect for new sponsorship partners •Uncover new opportunities for current partners •Listen to partners’ objectives to create strategic sponsorship programs that deliver results •Manage the execution of sponsorship elements to insure objectives are met •Provide accurate, reliable information for updates and sales forecasts Skills, Special Knowledge and Abilities: The qualified candidate is confident, self-motivated and achievement oriented with a college degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, and has 5+ years experience in the achievement of revenue growth through sales of large-scale sponsorships. Also required are credible relationships with brand managers, marketing directors, agencies, media buyers, etc. Candidate should have a professional presence with superior skills in verbal and written communications, client services and should be comfortable making presentations to both individuals and groups. Job requires expert-level word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software skills as well as a very strong working knowledge of e-commerce and online marketing. Physical Requirements: Ability to speak clearly and distinctly in order to communicate with a wide diverse clientele; ability to lift small packages up to 25 lbs.
