FINANCIAL ANALYST Location: MEM (Memphis, TN) Salary: $20.73 - $25.91 (mid point) per hour Hiring Manager: Jeff Skinner To apply, contact phigh@nwairlink.com or fax to 901-348-4162 • Work under the direction and supervision of the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. • Act as a liaison between Operations and Financial Planning and Analysis Identify/Analyze operational financial issues and recommend/implement opportunities and improvements. • Assist in the development of the Annual Operating Plan, Capital Expenditure Plan, Quarterly Forecast, and Long Range Business Plan. • Administer/utilize the financial planning system (Cognos). • Assist Accounting in the monthly close process, i.e. journal entries, reconciliations, etc. and in the research and analysis of monthly financial performance. • Coordinate/prepare monthly budget and financial reports for senior management and monthly budget reviews. Coordinate/prepare monthly operating statistics and financial reports as part of the monthly financial reporting package. • Perform various financial analyses as required, i.e. Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), etc. • Prepare operational analysis and management reports as required. • Requires heavy interface with all functions within the company, as well as all levels of management. • Assist in special projects as required. Minimum Qualifications: • Finance degree, • MBA degree/student preferred. • 2-3 years of financial analysis experience required. • Exceptional computer skills; (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) including software modeling skills. • Exceptional analytical ability required. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Skilled in working with other employees and all levels of management. • Above average written and communication skills. Typical Physical Demands: Some repetitive motion such as typing and position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs. Can involve long periods of sitting. Typical Working Conditions: Computer work, in a typical office environment. Subject to critical deadlines and fast-paced environment at times. Special Requirements: Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Some travel may be necessary.
