MANAGER, SECURITY Salary: $26.00 - $32.50 per hour (midpoint) To apply, contact corporatejobs@flypinnacle.com or fax to 901-348-4162 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Primary liaison with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Principal Security Inspectors and Federal Security Directors of Pinnacle Airlines. • Primary liaison with foreign governments for security related items • Responsible for ensuring airline is in compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection regulations and respond to all violations and investigations. • TSA appointed Aircraft Operator Security Coordinator (AOSC) for airline; be available for direct contact to TSA TSOC • Investigate and respond to TSA letters of investigation; negotiate settlement for related proposed civil penalties. • Maintain and update the Pinnacle Security Manual as directed by regulating authorities; ensure company wide compliance with TSA security directives. • Manage and ensure company compliance with the TSA mandated Criminal History Records Checks (CHRC) for covered employees. • Provide direction and implementation of TSA Approved Crewmember Security Program. • Be available at all times to receive and disseminate TSA Threat Conditions and National Security issues effecting airline operations. • Develop a security internal audit program and conduct security audits to ensure departmental compliance with TSA regulation. • Maintain Department of Homeland Security Secret Clearance. • Oversee Pinnacle Airlines Ground Security Coordinator program • Respond and provide direction to security issues that occur on Pinnacle Airlines aircraft • Manage airline “ID MEDIUM PLAN”. • Work with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Agencies concerning investigation impacting airline operations or employees. • Coordinate with security personnel from the Northwest Airlines Alliance Group, and the Delta Airlines Connection Network to ensure a seamless system-wide approach to security oversight and regulatory compliance. • Conduct security related performance analysis to include tracking delays and cancellations. • Process security incident reports, crew communication reports, flight safety reports, customer comment cards and other mediums used to report irregularities in the security arena. • Work with the Airline Pilot’s Association on all issues involving the Federal Flightdeck Officer’s program. • SME and OPR for security sections of Company Manuals: • Manage airline bomb threat procedures and airline facility access control • Represents Pinnacle Airlines at all Regional Airlines Association security meetings and functions. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform additional functions, which may be assigned from time to time TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires typical demands of an office environment and outside investigations. 40% Travel required. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment with some exposure to airport operations area. Serves as the on call security liaison for the company for all security matters. Must be available 24/7. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree. (Master’s preferred). Three years experience in security and/or emergency management program in the airline industry. Knowledge of Transportation Security Administration regulations, TSA Secuirty Directives. and Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP). Desired knowledge of International security regulations preferred. Experience in conducting background investigations, responding to FAA/TSA enforcement actions or letters of investigation. Excellent writing, communication, analytical, and organizational skills required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree. (Master’s preferred).
